It is with sadness we report UMT member Kevin C. Macaulay, age 68 of Lewiston, answered his final alarm on Thursday March 17, 2016 in Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.

2014 President’s report
This year marks my 10th anniversary at the Upper Mt. Fire Company, and my fourth consecutive term as it’s President. It’s been a wild ride to say the least. In addition to being a firefighter and EMT at one of the busiest fire companies in Niagara County over the last 10yrs, I’ve also been front line on the ‘business side’ of running a fire company which has left just as many memories (and some scars). But as Winston Churchill once said, ‘If you’re going through hell, keep going.’
