Past Chief Perry L. Domzella answers final call
Perry L. Domzella of Lewiston, died Monday, October 28, 2013, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.
A dedicated community servant, Perry was a member and chief of both Niagara Active Hose and Upper Mountain Fire Company. He was instrumental in establishing Upper Mountain’s ambulance service and served as a fire inspector for the Town of Lewiston.

Burn Ban in Effect
Annual Burning Ban by order of NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
March 16 – May 14, 2013
During this time period, no open burning shall be allowed. Opening burning may be allowed between May 15, and March 15, provided requirements are met and no further bans are in place through local or State regulation.

Mercy Flight Ground Crew Class Announced
As part of the Rescue Tech Basic class, Niagara County will be holding a Mercy Flight Ground Crew class on Thursday, February 7th, 7:00 PM at Upper Mtn Fire Hall, 839 Moyer Rd. Lewiston NY.This Class is open to anyone in the county; you do not need to be taking the RTB. You do not need to sign up for this class; just show up.
