It is with heavy hearts we report the passing of past UMT Chief Joseph D. Passanese, Sr. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and our fellow FF’s at Lewiston #2. Rest in Peace Chief, you more than earned it.

Joe also served our community as the Deputy Chief of the Hazardous Materials Team, Commissioner of HazMat for the Town of Lewiston, served on the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit in where he became a Level II Fire Investigator and a Zone Coordinator. He was currently serving as the Fire Chief of Lewiston Fire Company No. 2.
